1. Introduction
Learnimals ("we", "our", "us") is an educational app for children. We take your family's privacy seriously and are committed to protecting it.
2. Information We Collect
We collect minimal data necessary to operate the app:
- Analytics: Usage data such as screens viewed, features used, and games completed is processed by Firebase Analytics and PostHog to help improve the app. PostHog processes data on its US cloud and receives a persistent app user identifier from RevenueCat, plus subscription status. The app has no fields for a child to enter a name, email address, or contact details.
- Subscription data: Managed by RevenueCat. We do not store payment information — this is handled by Apple.
- Advertising (free tier only): Child-directed ads appear in the free version. The app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and disables advertising signals. Premium removes ads.
- Device info: Device type, OS version, and language preference (stored locally on device only).
3. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Learnimals is designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not require account creation, login, or any personal data input.
4. Third-Party Services

5. Data Storage
Learning progress and preferences are stored on the device. Analytics and subscription data are processed by the third-party services listed above; their policies describe their retention and deletion practices.
6. Your Rights
